Learning Ears®
Learning Ears® is a listening and reading training program designed to improve how people hear, process, and retain information—keys for success. It helps individuals overcome challenges like dyslexia, speech delays, or attention difficulties.
Learning Ears® is a specialized, research-backed program designed to strengthen the core skills of listening, reading, and communication that are essential for academic and life success. Created by reading specialist Gayle Moyers, the program combines The Listening Program with ear-voice training to help individuals receive, understand, and retain information more effectively. Over a 16–20 week period, students experience noticeable improvement in their ability to focus, read, comprehend, speak clearly, and engage in learning. Learning Ears has shown success with students struggling with dyslexia, ADHD, auditory processing disorder, speech delays, and other learning challenges. Many clients who previously struggled with speech—such as consistently mispronouncing the letter "R"—made rapid progress once they could clearly hear themselves and correct their speech in real time. Students diagnosed with ADHD often see a significant reduction in symptoms, as many behaviors associated with ADHD are rooted in auditory processing difficulties. Beyond children, adults also benefit—such as a stroke survivor who regained his ability to speak fluently and went on to teach others. Learning Ears is used effectively at home, in clinics, and in schools across the country. The result is not just academic improvement, but often a boost in confidence, motivation, and quality of life.

KEY BENEFITS
Bill, a 64-year-old air traffic controller, came to the Learning Ears program after suffering a stroke that affected his speech and overall communication abilities. Though physically recovering, he struggled to speak in full sentences and found talking to be exhausting. He began working with a Learning Ears practitioner twice a week, combining structured "listen and repeat" exercises with daily reading practice at home. Initially, Bill could only read aloud for short periods, but over time, his stamina and clarity improved. As his speech became more fluent, he also became more expressive and confident. Upon completing the program, Bill’s communication had improved so significantly that he was promoted from a desk job to a teaching role at the FAA. His students praised his teaching style and humor—something he hadn't been able to fully express since before his stroke. Bill's success illustrates the powerful impact Learning Ears can have, not just for children, but for adults facing speech or cognitive challenges due to trauma or neurological events.
